Mr Sky,

Any idea when qualifying starts?

I'm assuming it will be after the Xmas UKOPS...?

Had a great day at Newcastle at the weekend and got the bug now...... :)

    Satellites for the third leg of the 2011-12 Sky Poker Tour begin tonight

    The event is 28-29 Jan at G Casino Luton

    £200+20 buy in, 200 runners

    10k chips, 45 minute clock, 2 days

    satellites £22, 1 in 10 win a seat

    Event is satellite qualification only

    Can u please confirm the stack is 10K and 45 min blinds and NOT the scheduled structure in the tourney lobby?

    Monday 23rd Jan 8pm

    £20 rebuy, with 5 seats to SPT Luton guaranteed

    5,000 starting chips, 30 minute clock to start then 20 minutes after the rebuy period

    I'm not 100% sure, but I THINK the actual Event will have 15,000 chips, not 10,000, as stated. (45 minute clock).

    I qualified for this the other night through a satellite. Very stupid question, but that prize covers my buy in to the tourney right? Really looking forward to it. It was only like my 3rd game on Sky poker and I qualified for such a big event! Booked my hotel today but I am only a student, so I am slumming it ;)

    Yes the satellite win buys you into the event, well done

    Just turn up on the day. Check the player briefing a week before the event on here eg you'll need to know the dress code for the venue

    Thanks! Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it actually. Been watching the videos from the g.f last year, and it seems such a good tournament with lots of nice people. Watching WSOP final too, try and pick up some tips haha! I'm coming down on Friday too then I can meet people too :)

    ive just qualified for this leg, and to be honest im totally clueless on how it works dress code times and do i just turn up to casino on the day? its my first live event. well seriouse tournement any way ??

    Dress Code - see seperate thread Luton do have dress coe but relaxed but notoo casual footie shirts etc not allowed

    On day - Yes just turn up, if you are not a member of a G or Grosvenor casino you will have to become a member so need photo ID passport driving licence etc.

    If you can make the Friday tournament £100 its a good chance to meet a few Sky players and Tikay etc and get used to the casino.
