Just finished 9th winning couple of pounds but earlier on I was down to 28k on my big blind, blinds were 5k - 10k.
The small blind raised to 20k and I went all in with 10 3 basically cos I didnt want blinded out.

I won with pair of 3s then small blind said it was a loose call.

Would anyone else just let him/her take the blinds?

No, the call is right.. if you have live cards you have 40% chance to win and if u fold your leaving yourself with less than 2 blinds... correct call, put the chips in and hope to get lucky

Correct call.
I had the same situation earlir in the week and called with K 6 to hit a set of K's.
I also did not want to be blinded out. I would much rather go out with a fight that just quietly slipping away.

Hi Torry

Absolutley the correct call, however, I would suggest you think about not letting you chipstack get so low, experts vary on how low you should let your chipstack get, anyware between 7-10 BB,s before you find the right position and push otherwise you have no "fold equity" and will probably be called because the caller wont lose a lot of chips even if they lose.

Hi Torryladd,
If I've got this right, you didnt call you went all in, or did you have 28k with your BB in or after you had posted the BB?

I had 28k, put in 10k for the big blind, small blind raised to 20k and I just went all in with rubbish
