Being oop it is tricky n i know this mite not be advised but I probably call the turn and re assess on the riiver. If oppenent makes a big bet on river I think I can fold,

In heads up play, a pair of sevens with only one overcard, Im feelin pretty good about my hand.If the oppo is spewy and very aggressive then I think i call any river bet.

On the flop u shud be asking yourself what your going to do if he bets again on the turn.

is there any cards on the turn your going to like apart from a 7? NO!

i called on the turn basically a float hoping villain would check then i would bet and take the pot

If he checked back to you on the river, I woudlnt bet. Your hand has equity, its already a decent size pot and what does he call a bet with that your beating. A pocket pair between 44 to 66 is the only hand I c u get action/value from.

Curious, how did the hand end.

you were oop so floating doesnt work if he checks you cant check behind!

played it ok though, although i prefer 3 bet pre to 170ish

also if what u mean is if he checks turn u bet river then that line doesnt really work its either check call river if thats ur intention on a good river card

    3 bet pre
    shove turn !!

i had noted on him after playing 5 mins he calls any raise from me if i 3 bet he would call was very loose aggro player so i didnt 3 bet because i hit massive i think i get paid of looking back should of called the turn bet and se how villain reacts on the river

i might raise the flop heads up but calling ok to the turn i would ca playing it this way hard to give him 2 a 9 hand he could have but most of the time i thick it going a flush draw or just air or over card and by raising the flop u make the hand a lot easier to play

If he does check then  you gotta just check behind, there's not much that's gonna call you that you're beating.

Personally I think you can fold the turn as played. He's made a pot bet on both streets. I know HU is about aggression but that is overly aggressive if he has nothing, he could get the same result by betting much less.

I think 3-bet (fold to a 4-bet) pre-works better heads up. However small and medium pocket pairs are a serious leak in my heads up game. If he calls (which your reads indicate he would) then you have the betting lead going into the flop and 932 is a pretty good flop for sevens. You can fire out on the flop and again on the turn. If he shows up with a nine then so be it

It's all about the meta-game too. Does his play indicate that he would fire a second barrel on the turn with ace high or king high? Would he play a spade draw like this? The problem is that you are out of possition and know very little about his likely holding because you have not put any pressure on him so far in the hand. As played it's probably a good fold on the turn, but I think you've been too passive with the hand you have.

This is what you want him to call with marginal hands which means its ££ longterm 3 betting with 77

If you call flop you are not usually floating with 2nd pair in a hu game. You can float sometimes, but you actually have a hand here

    call turn

post reads in op, esp for hu, its pretty impossible to get good replies without some idea of dynamic in a hu game
