What would you do?

Hi all, still very new to the poker scene and at the moment just enjoying playing for reletively low money whilst I learn the game as best as I can (not that I was ever good at learning anything)

Would anyone have done anything differently here, I mean at the end of the day looking back the only thing I could have done was fold on the river but in truth I didn't see the possible straight, mainly down to the flat calls then the final shove made me think it was a bluff.

Nevermind eh, win some you lose some.

I think you played it fine, bet sizes were ok imo. The only thing I would of done would be to check/call the river and maybe have saved a tiny amount of cash but im never folding the river

yer gotta check the flop here imo. rarley getting called by worse. Turn id overbet huge calling off turn and river.

u played it ok id check call the flop and on the turn id put a 3/4 bet out there river is fine just ul

if we rarely get called by worse on flop why overbet huge on later streets?

We possibly can get value on flop, but its definitely tough to get 3 streets from worse unless we improve

Check flop for pot control, you only have top pair poor kicker on a wet board, if we can skip a round of betting it could save a bit on the river. 

Turns a killer card for you but against this villain i fold river everytime. He has better than trips on that board to shove.
