bad bluff? please advise

ok tried to bluff my broadway draw, opponent said betting didnt make sense. could i of got him off his pocket 9s?
i know my first mistake was checkin the flop but is the bet sizing wrong? or do i give up the hand after he calls on the turn?

only problem here is you didnt bet flop which you would with Q or J and turn and river are both blanks, so not firing on the flop your not really repping anything.

Good bet sizing, but would be better to bet on ze flop in future or as played check back river unless you have seen the villain fold before. Thing is your A high does have some showdown and your not really going to get many ppl to fold anything as it doesn't really look like you have anything

id be c-betting the flop, the turn and river don't have to be blanks you could easily have 8/10 9/10 suited in this spot imo

i would be c-betting 100 per cent of the time on this flop doesnt matter if you havent hit your opponent doesnt know that and this hits a preflop raisers range

i think your bet sizes are too small, but it looks like he was calling you regardless.

Board pairing cards are, in general, really bad cards to barrell.  Very little changes and if the oppo has already taken a pot control line you're going to get called a lot.

Only a bad call by oppo if you check flop and bet turn a lot with a made/flopped hand tbh

bet flop, if called give up. if you dont bet the flop dont bet the turn
