To all current teachings, the pre flop raise is way too high but at £1.10, 3 or 4x (as you did) is ok.  Other than that, the hand plays itself, he made absolutely the right move going all in and you made the correct move to call.

Hi Crass, I know you are right, I over bet so much.

I think its because I try and play slow and 9 out of 10 they either hit flush or streight. Just so scared to play mid - to mid high pairs.

I know these are great cards however can not play them slow no more.

The problem is that if you have people making notes on you, they will see you overbet big hands, so it is a massive tell, you should always bet the same whether you have it or not.

all is fine, think the pre 4x is fine this early

as the blind go higher and the stacks are more shallow then the raise sizes should decrease
