Online blackjack is not the same game as blackjack dealt from a shoe in a casino. Online use a continuous shuffle method which foils any chance of counting or card tracking. Technically speaking it shouldn't really be called blackjack. I have a sneaking suspision that more than 1 shuffle is used in online poker during the course of a hand. Why the delay in cards being dealt when people go all in pre flop ?

I'd suggest artificial delays to make it more like 'live' / adding suspense etc.
With modern computing power without artificial delays the community cards and showdown could be done so quickly it would be over before you'd seen what had happened.
well if u lose to 21 everytime something is definately wrong.. the chances on making 21 in 3 consecutive hands are 10,000 to 1 Posted by djblacke04
Depends on the number of decks in play? Although it's possible to determine win/loss rates based on playing basic strategy, there's a lot of variance in the game, and you'd need to play a lot of hands befoe you could say that a small run of results was abnormal. I've personally experience two occasions where I've lost 14 out of 15 hands - which considering the house is only expected to win 51% of the time is remarkable.
I learned blackjack before I started on hold'em. Relatively speaking, an easier game to analyse.
