Poker book for beginners?

Hi guys.

Not long signed up.  Only started playing poker a couple weeks ago.  After depositing a small amount of money in, going up and down and then eventually losing it, im obviously not wanting to jump in head first and want to get a bit of knowledge behind me before i continue playing for cash.  

Im wanting to buy a poker book for beginners and wondered if any of you could recommend one?  I've had a look online and there does seem to be quite a few out there so thought i would get some recommendations before i buy.

Any help would be great.

I know this kinda isn't what you asked for but I'd really suggest reading all the info on The Poker School on Sky:

There are some good introductions for various different aspects of the game, and also a couple of strategy guides from some of the regular plays on the site... JohnConnor on how to play 'Double Your Moneys' and Dohhhhhhh's guide on micro stakes cash.

It's very reasonably priced and covers both cash and tournaments and is designed for the novice player. I found it very useful when I started learning the game.
