Focus,And be patient.
I dont normally read books on poker but my dad gave me one by doyle brunson,After the read one thing that i remembered well was him saying on all levels stay fully focused and just be patient and wait for hands in posistion,So putting this into play on here i did exactly that.
After the first hour in a £5.50 tournament on here i was sitting with average chip stack and only 68 players left(top 10 paid)i look down and see KK,The first two players fold i make it a 3x raise with 3 more still to act,Small blind with 10k more chips than me calls,The flop was kind no over card and he went all in so i immediatly called,He showed AA and i was out BUT the book taught me in early stages to just focus on others play etc and it really helped me,I dont pretend to be brilliant but every day im improving and am now just grinding out 2p/4p tables which is great fun.
Watch this space because im aiming to take down a big tournament on sky in 2012 but like the headline saysl FOCUS and be PATIENT.Good luck.Jim..

Many times ive read strategy stuff and tried to employ it on here especially with MTTs only for it to fail miserably. At low stakes the respect just isnt there. Its simply a case of keeping out of danger til the Crapshoot starts and giving yourself the best odds possible before shoving whilst crossing your fingers.
Only last night I played the Forum DTD for a bit of fun. There was a lad on the table running riot with any two cards he turned over and he was smashing everything. Just impossible to play against.
