C4P Question.

edited January 2012 in Poker Chat

Say for example at NL4 you get 1 point for every 10 hands played. do you get this EVERY hand you see cards or only those hands you contribute towards the pot, wether it be SB/BB contributions or betting out of the blinds in a pot.

You have to contribute to the pot.

So there is no way of gauging how many hands a player sees during a session, looking at C4P therefore would only give you hands contributed to the pot. I need a way of working out how many hands ive played?

its raked hand, not contribution based.  if you say fold 72 utg and some laggy players somehow get in their AA and KK, then that will count towards how many raked hands you have seen.

So C4P includes all hands that make it to the flop.
Say for example a pot is took down preflop, this wouldn't contribute to any of the tables C4P's total? But if any hand makes it to the flop every one at the table recieves a C4P bonus? yeah?

yeah its dealt rake not contributed, if you get dealt in and the pot is raked the nit counts towards c4p

    Wow, I can't believe I didn't even know this!!

I always thought it was raked pots where you've contributed something to the pot, even if you raise/fold pre.

get to the flop and fold = C4P

as long as you have received 2 or 4 cards pre flop, and the hand is raked post flop then it gets counted towards your c4p, you do not need to have contributed money into the pot.

A Raked hand is a hand that you participate in - this means that you have been dealt hole cards and the hand has generated at least £0.01 in rake for the player.

Sky Poker operates a no-flop no-drop policy. If a hand is completed without a flop being dealt then no Rake is taken.
