Have you checked this out with an ICM calculator? Going with my gut you made an unnecessary shove into 4 players one of whom was in serious peril with the blinds coming round to him, not to mention the others who may (incorrectly) fancy a flip with 99..QQ or have actually woken up with AA/KK. I may well be wrong and playing these thngs just too damn tight!

I have no comment on whether his call was correct or not - people do tend to call WAY too light in these things though, bad news: this only benefits the rest of the table and not you! Again this would be interesting to ICM crunch. Was he a donk? OK you a 2:1 favourite on him, but are you happy losing half your stack and ending up right in it 1 time in 3? If win the hand you still aint a lock to cash (but looking good I'll admit).

I might sound mad but I'd be happier shoving rags SB into BB if we similar stacks!!

Would be interested to know what stakes this was and what the stacks were.

I play DYM now as I'm trying to spin my roll up from 0 (£30 and counting and find they are higher variance than you would expect as people do call waaaay too light and you haven't got the fold equity you should have to maintain your stack. They are beatable, good for a steady grind up but I will be getting away from them real soon as they ain't fun!

EDIT: just noticed the 2nd hand bit more ouchy I can see the blinds are real nose bleed, but really have to shove here on the bubble into the whole table?
