Last time I ever bet on Chelsea I put £100 on them winning 4-0 @ 200/1 And in the dying moments of the game they scored a fifth. I think I stared into nowhere for hours saying nothing. Posted by NoseyBonk
I had a similar thing happen with me with West Ham a few years ago, albeit nowhere near those stakes. We were home to Gillingham & me & my brother were convinced we were gonna turn 'em over big time. We each had a tenner on @ 60/1 on us to win 4-0. Anyhow, 4-0 up with about 5-6 minutes left we get given a really soft penalty. We must have been the only people in the home end to groan about it. Super Teddy steps up..................AND MISSES!!! Again, we got a few funny looks as we started a mini celebration. What we then realised was that the ref ordered a re-take due to their keeper moving!!!! The re-taken pen was scored & it's probably the only time i've ever felt p****d off that we'd just hammered someone 5-0!
Back to the Chelsea game, as much as I hate to say it I think Chelsea will win this. I'll go for 2-0 but not confident enough to stump money up on it (although I have backed Chelsea as part of a 4 way today). The one that is worth a punt is Vidic to be the 1st card today at 12/1.

well i am absalutely gutted loseing , and haveing a bet on it so leat the bit i won on the £30 gtd and the £50 gtd i was up in money but down in heart.
I think that one can be put down to 1 - 0 to the ref - The Man was uselessand while i think Man U should of scored in open play there were so many decisions that the ref was way off with
let's hope that Chelsea win, just so Ferguson can whinge about the ref, the wind, the unfairness of it all. in fact anything apart from the lack of form in his side. Posted by labrat64
Are you Mystic Meg?
* in all fairness, the chances of Fergie whinging about anything apart from the lack of form in his side is about 659%.

even if they kicked a few opponents, they used to when I was a kid, now they are all nancy pansy
I reckon it's gonna be 1-0 Chelsea with Terry and Anelka both claiming the goal and it being awarded to JT even though Anelka probably scored it.
Hull v Stoke far more entertaining.
