    In the final hand Julian turned two pair with 8-2 on an Ace high board, Cook holding A-J, to win the tournament

    The weekend's results saw Julian win the main event and runner up in the Friday side

    This catapults him to the lead of the SPT Leaderboard, which will be updated on the tour forum asap

    what a fun weekend that turned out to be ))

    thoroughly enjoyed myself & was great to meet a few new faces as well as the old & familiar.

    absolutely thrilled to have ticked off one of 2012's goals already.

    Was a great day. Back home now. Good to meet a few of you guys and was extremely happy with how I played. Was sitting comfortably above average all day, up until Final level 12 where I decided it was all or nothing to go strong in to Day 2... just wasn't my time to bink one and cash..... Well done Sky Poker for organising a brilliant day again. Best of luck everybody playing tomorrow!

    Thanks to all the Tikay, Blandie, Tighty & et al who worked so very hard infront of the camera's and behind the scenes to make the event an absolute sucess!!! It was lovely to catch-up with old friends and meet new ones!!

    I was sadly unable to do a bink but had the most amazeballs time!!!

    Extra thanks to my fellow TKPers who made the weekend extra special.. not including the fantastic support from the virtual rail!!! 

    Re the Dragonfli memorial ribbons: 

    I roped Samantha25 into helping me bully-sell the ribbons in memory of dragonfli and thanks to the generosity of everyone that attended SPT Luton we managed to raise...(drum roll....)

    *******£600*******

    A HUGE thank you everyone that donated, and wore the ribbons with pride on both the Saturday and the Sunday!!! Tikay will be transfering the money to Dragonfli's charity once the remainder of online pledges are transferred!!!!!
