Two Day SPT - Sunday Afternoon Side Events

Would it be possible to consider adding a Sunday afternoon side event if there was enough interest shown?

Normally there are a good 100 runners who have been knocked out of the main event on Saturday who almost certainly had a hotel room booked but decide to leave and go home as there isn't anything for them to stay for.

Even if we only got 30 Sky Poker players interested with a bit of additional promotion by the venue we'd probably get some locals who would come along after their Sunday lunch to play.

    Massive +1 from me

    There was 4 of us who had a room for Sunday night but decided there wasn't anything to keep us there on the afternoon and would definitely have played the 3pm/4pm game had it been on.  It's not like there wasn't enough room or tables.  I'm sure there would have been volunteers for self dealing, if that was the issue.

    That's a definite yes from me.  I was one of those who decided to head home early last weekend as there wasn't another game at the casino until 8.00 that night.  Had there been one at 2.00 or 3.00 then I would definitely have stayed and played it.

    The side events are scheduled casino events, ie we "badge" events the casino would normally put on


    For the one day SPTs the side events are Friday night and Saturday night

    For future two day SPTs I will request a Sunday afternoon game, but it willl as ever be up to the casino to put one on for us.

    At about 3pm,  10 of us played a £50 sit n go! Was only bout 15 people railin, so just started on a table close so we could see/hear the action!!

    Was good!! I actually lasted 15 mins before gettin ma KK all-in pre, v.....course AA!!
