    is there still re buys??

either way really, its a shove but because the board is dry there is poss of a set BUT Air-balling or under pairs to your kk is a poss which are a larger part of his range.

I'd be shipping it here but i'm spewing lately in MTT's.

I think they show up enough times with Jacks and Queens. They could have 10's, maybe 9's.

Ace could be a possibility but not sure if they would flat your 3-bet with aces.

    Keep in weaker hands.

Make some oppo's think they have FE so they can bluff shove overcards, happens a LOT in these rebuy games.

Seemed like most of the players couldn't spell fold equity

Probably not but it's not a rare play for an oppo to shove on that flop with AK AQ etc
  • edited February 2012
Yeah bet flop smaller as you need to save chips for times you have AK/AQ etc and also let them think they can move you off the hand.

    As played just cooler.

your bet on the flop w as bad then rancid if ya thinking of folding to a shove should of bet smaller

I likely make it 2300 - 2400 pre.  Gives him more room to shove.

Its a bad call as it by 9's pre given stacks but you know this.

Pretty much auto stack off from flop given tourney stage, stacks.  Hate the flop min so much.  I think I open about 10-15% smaller on flop, but always to get it in.

Just vul bud.  Flop min is polarising but isnt always going to be a set.  We have 35 bbs left if we fold?  Myeh I prob get stubborn also.  Chalk up as a cooler and open another table.

This is so annoying because these players calling 3 bet oop with mid prs with not the correct implied odds and just gamble. 3xUTG open and then raises flop, did think AA/set lol - sometimes you just can not account for random bads - most of the time oppo gets stacked on no paint flops gg, cabs outside - not much consolation in a do or die  MTT though :(

Anyway ofc I am never folding, even though I read as AA/set but just can't fold with so many hands I can beat here - I even doubt oppo would be good enough to flat 3 bet oppo w/AA :S
Maybe could bet flop smaller and induce aggro shove from worse, future consideration

Hate this feeling - having to call when you 'know' you're beaten. But his call of your 3 bet was more likely to be tens, JJ or QQ than nines, which is a very bad call as been stated. Min raise on flop is a worry but you've put too much in by then in my opinion.
