Bad beat - but still won tourney

edited November 2009 in Poker Chat
This is the first hand history I have posted on here -I'm still puzzling over it.  I'm not moaning either, this is the type of player I want to play against.  The tournement is the 10:30pm BH which is £10 + £1, so not exactly a freeroll where you might expect this sort of play.  You may question my all-in bet after his re-raise, but I had already identified the player as a bit of chancer after he called some big bets on the flop and then hit a str8 with runner runner.  I was pretty sure I was ahead and expected him to fold my all-in.  Although down to ten big blinds, I managed hang on, then double up a couple of times, and eventually won the tourney at about 1am (I think there were 70 something runners).  I'm well chuffed with the win but puzzled by this hand:
