OK im confused. What is there to suggest our oppo has a better house at any point in this hand. IMO he has a flush and hits it. Which e does. How many people at these levels actually fold K or A high flushes. I like the overbet and id prob do the same reversed.

Its not about our hand strength but what are opponent calls bet size with.  Any decent player folds river.

What more profitable,  a smaller raise that gets paid off 99% of the time or a massive over bet that gets called 1% of the time

Its not about our hand strength but what are opponent calls bet size with.  Any decent player folds river.

Yes perhaps.  My comment wasnt based around OP'ster being bad for shoving, but agreeing with Rancid that Op'ster was lucky to get max value.

The fact that he went for max value and gets it speaks,  Its going to be a sigh fold for alot of players, but if hero feels hes going to get the call its obv right.  Going to be plyr dependant as always.

Yeh, I guess it's a risk/reward thing, with the main risk being not getting paid obv.

I think that you'll definately be called enough times at 10nl to make this move worth it, higher up against people that can fold big hands.. probably not.

I mean the times they fold and you wish you'd of raised 3/4 quid will not be too significant at 10nl.

Fail to see benefits long term if you have no history that oppo stacks in these spots with worse

Doing this versus random’s is like missing so much value long term

 

Even though I advocate the move, which is fine if you know oppo does not have a fold button
