Looks like its back up and running again now, my timed game started about 5 minutes late but seems to be running OK

i'm guessin the standard freeroll + the new player one has put the player numbers above what Sky can manage, maybe one day they'll provide a decent enough download to cope with the player numbers they aim for

There were over 10,000 users online 15 mins ago, that's dropped to 7,500 now.

10K is huge for Sky, smells of a denial of service attack to me.

No point in contact customer care as they will not do anything tonight as tournaments are still running. Even if it affected your STT games were affected and have now finished.

Complete waste of 30mins.

Hi Mark

I imagine that customer care have been swamped with calls this evening due to the earlier problems.  If your not happy with what you have been told can I suggest that you send them an email giving them the details and asking them to look into it again for you.  No guarantee that you will get a refund but it will give them more time to assess the situation once they have cleared the backlog from all the phone calls.

I understand they were busy and have copied my chat so I can contact again when they dont have a long list of people waiting to speak to them.  Probably isnt the best idea to be advising people to wait 30mins to speak to them when they are only issuing a standard response saying they cannot look into individual cases but refunds wont be issued as everyone was disconnected at the same time.
