Cant see stack sizes.

But looking at it, i also lead flop mostly but then again most flush draws will bet out and in that case i am checking to raise here. Your never getting away, but once you have taken the line of checking flop i think we have to raise then.

Obviously there's nothing wrong with the check pre-flop. You're always going to be stacked really, whatever you do.
I would definitely suggest leading the flop. You'll protect your hand, which is the second nuts now but is unlikely to be on subsequent streets, and you'll get value from two-pair, top-pair, overpairs and flush and higher straight draws. By checking you're taking the chance that nobody will bet this board and you'll see a turn card that will either kill your hand or kill your action. You can check to a raiser and expect a c-bet on the flop if there was a raise pre-flop and if you're heads-up or three-handed to the flop. On this occasion it's an unraised pot pre-flop so you really have to do your own betting...

Bad luck that somebody was playing T7, but it's always good to think what we could have done better rather than what our opponent did or how unlucky we were... but still; very unlucky.
