Hello you!

We have a solid sunday evenings Pokertainment lined up for you from 7 this weekend featuring a look back on thursday nights 15K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter and highlights from sundays main event - The Primo.

Fresh from his SPT victory in Luton our resident expert will be one Julian YoYo Thew and we have a great guest in the shape of UKIPT winner Jamie Burland. Jamie will be joining us for 'Analyse My Play' from 8 and is keen to talk about your poker leaks. Most people are aware they have leaks in their game but aren't so sure how to go about plugging them.  So cards on the table what is your biggest poker leak?  Jamie's been coaching for the last couple of years now and is on hand to really improve your game 
  
On 'Sky Poker School' from 9 we'll be looking at ‘playing small pocket pairs in MTT’s’  Are you an aggressive player that likes this hand out of position?  Do you alter your play with this hand depending on the level/stage of the tournament?  Let us know your experience of playing small pocket pairs and Julian and Jamie will offer up their top tips.
 
Mr Thew also thinks we can have some fun with 'worst hands ever played' on the show, SO! what sticks out in your mind? Could be a hand you've witnessed or played, either way we'd love to hear your nomination for the 'worst hand ever played'

Add to all that highlights from the sky poker tv tables from 10 on 'Top of Sky Poker' and highlights from The Primo on 'Sky Poker Highlights' from 11 and ladies and gents we have ourselves a show!

    sigh at having my spewy old school play analysed on tv, surely much more enlightening to grill the guest no?

    at least the mood should lighten with 'worst hands ever played', i. have a couple of corkers to reminisce over, should get burland rolling his eyes.

    I can't wait for the show tomorrow, and am hoping to get my leaks addressed by your esteemed guests. I will definitely E-mail in to see if they can assist a hopeless case like myself in the art of improvement. Bring on the fun. Shame we have to wait till tomorrow.

    Oops. I hadn't slept when I posted that so it kinda felt like it was the next day for me.lol. If that makes sense. Best of luck with the 'Woman Flu' (Only half of what man flu is) and my advice is to make a lemsip and then do the towel over head and inhale the fumes from it. Always seems to do the trick for me.

    good luck with the show guys/girls. will be watching. will be interesting to see the section on "leaks". been going through my hh this morning after a "turbulent" night and if noticed most of my bigger losses come from not believing the button has a decent hand when im either sb or bb. any advice plz.   phil

    Worst hand that I remember has to be this, from the Xmas UKOPS Main Event - sent this in when it happened, and Tikay had a mini rant about folding with so little behind. As I usually grind micro stakes cash and low stakes DYM's, I've seen some really crazy stuff. But the fact that someone did this in a £220 buy-in event is why I'd nominate this hand:

    My biggest leak - In tournaments, I can't play for long without having 5 or 10 minutes of pure, unadulterated spewage. Happens most often when I start feeling comfortable at a table, and start thinking "Seat 4 is a nit, let's start 3 betting every hand with 8 high". Before I know it, I've called a 4 bet, and fired 3 barrels with 8 high, and opponent turns over a set of aces or something. Oops!


    Pocket Pairs in tournaments - 
    Aggressive table = Just fold them. Don't want to raise with a small pair in early position, then have to fold when there's been a 5 bet by the time the action gets back round to you. Just donating chips to the pot.
    Passive table = Raise, take down the blinds, next hand. If you get called, just flop a set.

    Early on = Looking to see a cheap flop, hit a set, and stack someone.
    Later = I'll tell you when I get to that stage of a tournament...Probably just get it in, take down the blinds, or hope someone calls with an underpair. You're probably flipping most of the time if you get called anyway.

    I post on sky poker while I'm on my sofa.  Never tried to post whilst on a wireless.

    My biggest leak, one of many I'm sure, is when I have a big pocket pair ie KK or QQ and giving up when the flop comes down ace high and I give up when my opponent bets as I always believe they have it when simple common sense says they can't always.  I won't get into playing rag suited aces or over playing small pocket pairs pre flop as there is not enough time and I don't want to expose all my leaks on national tv!

    Do Julian and Jamie have any major leaks that they have plugged and if they have could they please share how they overcome them.

    O dear!! I was all over sky last nite in a 14hr session lasting til 8.30am, and doing all the D's drinking, donking and generally being disorderly - sigh! I don't think I'll watch tonite ha :)

    Evening all ,have a great show .......no rub down mate but..having got a new job(wooohooo!) i haven't been on the forums as much lately and was just curious if Sam Rasavi had said anything about costumes for Jamie and Carlo's up coming tourneys on the live circuit? Jamie having not quite reached his target of main event and mini event win on the same night........with the prop bet and all. Cheers Dave.

    I don't know about the worst hand played but the worst fold I have ever seen was on a dym.  4 left and I had just lost most of my chips on a flip and, with the blinds at 100 200, I was down to 300 chips and in the small blind.  Worse was to come.  I was dealt 24 off.  Not a great situation!  UTG and button folded and I jammed all in thinking if I was lucky I would be 40-60 as the BB had over 4000 chips and had to call.  Anyway, after about 5 seconds of thinking he folded for the extra 100 chips!

    Was it me?
    I've been chip leader a number of times and folded big blinds in DYM's
    It ticks me off to see some players not even play a hand in a DYM and win money!
    If someone has been playing poker in the right spirit I have an aversion to taking them out before a player who hasn't had the courtesy to turn up.
    Besides I probably didn't have playable cards and might have doubled you up for no reason.

    Great show as usual, still leanring new things good to hear the thought process from 2 people.

    Costumes ....Ren and Stimpy a classic cartoon that used to be on bbc2 in the 90's in the 6/6.30 slot around the age when early evening quiz shows were just unthought of!!
