...And I have about a million questions about the whole thing - All answers are appreciated
1) What do I need to bring with me to the casino? I know I'll need ID (especially as I'm 18 - my driving license should be okay), money, oh and hand sanitizer of course :P But anything else?
2) What actually happens when I get to the casino - is it as simple as walking in, sitting down with a load of money, and playing poker? Where do I get chips from? Do I need to give the casino my details?
3) How much money should I bring? Obviously only bring what I can afford to lose, but what is a sensible amount to bring? (i.e. I'm unlikely to end up sat in the casino @ 6pm on Saturday with no money left unless I play HU v Lolufold)?
4) What are the smallest games I would expect to find running in a casino?
5) Casinos presumably give cheques instead of cash? If I miraculously bink a cash in anything, I don't particularly fancy walking around Brighton in the dark with several hundred quid in my pocket.
6) How bad is live cash poker? Did some research and read on 2+2 earlier that £1/£2 Live = NL4 - Is the standard really that bad?
7) Any hotels near the casino?
Thanks again

I will try to answer some of your questions but i think you have answered most of them yourself.
1.All you need is ID to register and money ( money can buy you anything else you need)
2. IF you have qualified to play in the SPT go to the Sky people who will have a table there with a sticker for you to put on with your moniker on(EVIL PINGU). Then wait for the seat draw to come up on the TV screen look where you are sitting and sit there and it begins.
To play cash go to the card room desk ask what games are available and put your name down to play . They will tell you anything else you need to know(Its their job).
3.Can not really tell you how much to bring as this is tottally dependent on your situation and what level you play but as you say as much as you can afford to loose.
4 Every casino is different ,i know at Bristol they do 50p/ 50p as the lowest but at Torquay £1/£2 is the lowest , not sure on Brighton as i have never been.
5. Most Casino pay in cash. If you win the SPT it goes in you SKY account but on cash table you cash your chips for cash.
6. Live poker is different but not always worse than online . Live you can get a lot of the older generation who dont play online but have been playing for a long time and are no mugs.
7. IN Brighton loads of Hotels.
Hope this helps a bit ,good luck.
