    A look ahead to what's happening on the site tonight, a roundup of the winners from Sunday's Primo main event and we'll live hands from the low to mid-stakes Mastercash tables as they happen from 7 till 8.

    8pm – 9pm: Ask the Expert

    It's the Tikay hour! Gawd help us J 

    So fire away your questions to the man himself- maybe you watched the life of Tikay on the channel and want to ask a question……maybe you're new to Sky Poker and want some advice from Tikay……maybe you want to ask Tikay about a specific promotion on Sky Poker, or maybe you want Tikay to act as your agony uncle on a particular problem in your life or get his love-life advice for Valentine's Day?

    Please send in hand Id’s from the TV tables so you can also  ‘Ask Tikay’ a specific question related to the hand.

     

    9pm – 10pm: Sky Poker School

    We'll be looking at the fundamentals of tournament poker. So in the mix will be...

    We'll be covering more of your forum threads from the past week and discussing them in-depth, plus looking at the week's poker news: including the current hot topic: whether LIVE Poker Tournament players should have the right to “chop”, or “do business” when it comes to the final table. Let us know your thoughts.


    11pm – Midnight: Master Cash

    Live action from the Master Cash tables to round off the show!

    Evening guys, looking forward to another great show with a partnership that we all know gives Ant and Dec a run for their money.

    Ask The Expert
    I saw you posted on a thread earlier regarding a well known player on the site who sometimes struggles with the mental side of the game. So, from a personal point of view, how do you deal with losing streaks (for instance at cash tables), do you set stop losses so you'll get up and leave if you're 5 Buyins down etc or what?

    And to keep him happy, a bit of trivia... which road is also known as the 'London Orbital'?

    Hopefully I'll have an interesting hand in the SPT satellite tonight that I can send in to ya for MTT hands between 9pm-10pm (and hopefully I'll be on the winning end of it!)

    My question for Tikay is

    "What developments in poker in the last five years, whether live or online, have been bad for the game (or been a bit of a backward step)?"

    We know about Black Friday and the Full Tilt saga, but does anything else spring to mind?

    hi richard and tikay

    tikay may or may not remember i posted to the forum a few weeks giving my viewpoint as a purely recreational player who loved to limp pre flop and call re raises as i play for fun and not to improve.

    well i took tikays advice onboard and started to play 3 tables rather than 1, i have defenitley seen my results improve despite still playing in what can only be described as a "gambling" style

    i still have no pretensions to improve with the big boys (and gals) but small things like multi tabling and using the download all help from my very low starting base

    Evening guys.

    Been watching the reruns of the UK cash game you guys ran last year. I know i have asked this before and it may have been covered already at some point but whens the sequel come out? Tikay said he might have a game this time, is this true?

    On another note, this valentines day has taken me and 'her that i live with' relationship to a new level. Yep, just been to an antenatal class with her and talked about her uterus and all other stuff for 2 hours. Who said romance was dead?

                Tikay as an agony uncle LOL, He just provides the reason why there are so few if any male agony aunts,  EG:-Dear Tikay, yesterday I set off for work as normal but having gone a mile my car broke down so I walked home again on my arrival i was shocked to find my 16 yr old babysitter handcuffed to the bed in her school uniform with my husband in the room. I am devastated, can you help, Sally?

              Dear Sally,
                          a common cause  for this is dirt in the carburettor and i would advise that you dont let your fuel level drop too low. Hope this helps, Tikay.

    Orford's diary "Parking and the aftermath"

    Day 1:

    I popped into town for a quick open top bus tour of the city I've worked in for the last 15 years, as you do.

    Tube was closed so had to drive in.

    Bus tour was interesting, went over a big bridge with a tower.  Must find out what it's called.

    Having trouble finding my car, I'm sure I left it on Park Street?

    Gutted, I missed out on a seat in SPT Brighton...

    It got 34 runners so 6 seats and 7th place got £88, we were down to 12, I was 9th with 10BBs shoved UTG with AJoff, called by 88, turned the Jack, rivered the 8... genuinely heart breaking. I want that seat so much!

    Gave me some confidence though that I can go on to win one because I didn't need to get lucky at all, didn't even take a race through the whole thing, just slowly chipped up going along steady.

    Just got in and put on the show.  I have some logical input for you.  The average player from a given country doesn't matter.  In many many years of playing poker a stereotype has never bought in, no one is a mystical 'average' player.  As for the forum bashing of various nationalities, leave the hating to the haters.  It doesn't make you money,

    Good evening Mr. Orford and Mr Kendall.

    I was hoping you could tell me when the satellites to the Sky Poker Tour event in Blackpool might start. I don't actually play on the site at the moment but I live about a five minute walk away from the G Casino in Blackpool, so I'd love to know when I can try winning a seat. Also, any updates about when that time bank might be coming to Sky Poker?
