    Hey all,

How's your week been?  I know this thread is early, but I have the 'future' mother in law over from Poland arriving any minute, so thinking my weekend is going to be quite ........trying to think of the word.. She speaks no English, I speak no Polish, as Mariusz found out in Nottingham!
Also I wanted to give you the chance to have a think about your questions.

ALSO..... HAND REQUESTS, PLEASE GET THEM IN NOW :) thanks!

We kick off the live show at 7pm, and here is what is coming up...

7-8 pm Tonight on Sky Poker

    8-9pm Analyse My Play

    9-10pm  Sky Poker School

    10-11pm  Top of Sky Poker

11-12am  Sky Poker Highlights from the Primo

Now, we will talking about playing those tricky small pairs at intermediate cash level throughout the night.. so with that in mind

     How do you play yours!?

If you have any questions in relation to this, please get them in for Ryan, and maybe me!

    skyopen@bskyb.com

Looking forward to catching up with Ryan and your good selves

GL on the tables in the meantime

Glad that I've inpsired you to get a competition going Anna... if that doesn't make me worth of a prize, I don't know what does ;)

    Playing Small PPs

Well I don't play what I would class as an intermediate level but I think as with all hands you want to play, I bring it in with a raise (even 22). If you get limpers then I limp along 1) to avoid being 3bet and missing out on seeing the flop and 2) because with things like 22-55, I dont want to make anyone fold pre for the times when I hit my set. Obviously it's preferable to get them in position so that I can take down some pots when I don't hit a set, but out of position I'm playing them 100% for set mining.

I'd be really grateful if Scotty would give his thoughts on what I said above... see if I'm along the right lines.

Looking forward to the show have a good one lovely Anna and Ryan(not as lovely)

Firstly from the 30p/30p last night Ryan that hand vs mmmchips i thought i would put my thoughts as it was a bit fishy..

Me n Chips have played each other alot, generally he isn't going to open light so although i would usually 3 bet K10suited from Cut off i thought this would get me into trouble, he wont fold often and ill be in bad shape just inflating the pot. The flop really smashed his range, so i check hoping i hit my miracle card on the turn, when he bets on the turn i dont think im getting the price but i think i have implied odds and if i hit the river and he has a set he may go broke. River pretty standard i got lucky and just try get a bit more value with the re-raise.

As for how i play my worst? usually when im tired(which is most of the time) i did say a month ago i was going to not play if im overtired but then i would never paly :) I tend to do better when im more in the mood and not getting bored

A hand to analyse if you have a gap to fill...

#480712777NL10 action table, not many reads other then Dario is pretty solid. is this unlucky or should i be getting away from this at any point?

Hi Anna Ryan,    Anna have you given Hot Pant any consideration for the show and the Boys sake.  Spice things up Ryan could wear "Lederhosen"  and slap his thighs.  Just a thought.?    Right,  playing small pairs for me is fraught with danger as they usually come up against AA or QQ so I will always fold them unless in the big blind or let in cheaply.  If I do decide to play them I will whack in a big raise and wait for response.  Should I get called or re-raised alarm bells start ringing and usually result in me going out.  I play low stake poker for fun and get loads of comments about my wayward calls.  There not bluffs just me having fun and most of the time they lose so why call me a Muppet when they hit.  We all play the game of poker our way and who's to say there is only one way that's best.  TK always advocates getting your chips in,  but at low stakes most limp in and like to see the flop.  Early stages I would fold small pairs but later stages like to go allin preflop. Call me if you dare.?
Does Ryan think my Cavalier attitude a disadvantage if I moved up in stakes.

Have a great show and look forward to seeing Ryan in hot pants.!!       Hugs Annie xxx

What an epic misread i thought you said how do you play ur worst lol

     How do you play yours!?

no matter whether cash or tourneys if im opening will do so with a raise, never limp.If someone from EP has opened then its likely ill just call behind. If its re-raised after i limp it depends on the stacksizes and villain whether its a call or fold.

most tricky time to play small pairs is middle stages, so i will fold utg 33-55 and as stacks are shallower it depends on ur stack and the villains whether im reshoving or not. when the average stack is below 20bb its unlikely im calling often as you shouldnt be setmining so shallow.

Got a hand here from the the SPT Brighton Satellite last night, there are more details on the thread I made in the clinic, just interested on your thoughts Ryan as to the range I'm up against here, and whether I should be betting the flop BvB if it's checked to me. Looking back at it, I was thinking it looked quite like ace rag which I think fits in with minraising the SB, checking the flop, betting out once I've checked behind (showing I don't have an ace), betting the river when it's almost certain to be a split against another rag ace.
