The universe is made up of 4 dimensions so that even nowhere is somewhere in one or more of those dimensions. I hope this helps ) There is a theory that the universe is made up of up to 12 dimensions, so that means that nowhere could be somewhere in more than one place at the same time. This may not help ) There is also a theory that there are multi-dimensional multi-universes. That would mean that even if there was a nowhere here the nowhere would almost certianly be somewhere, somewhere. ) Posted by elsadog
All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension.
All these theories are pie in the sky, the fact remains, our planet is nearly full of rubbish, which makes sky a waste of space, because rubbish cannot be stored there, innit?
In Response to Re: Sky is a waste of space!!!! : You can always relay on Oy to talk a lot of Rubbish.!!! lol :-)) Mmm now let me see .. How much maintainance for us looking after "Humpty" does he owe.? Posted by logdon
OY!--Watch it you, I'm actually taking Humpty fishing on sunday, for some old trout, which obviously has nothing to do with you?
The world contains exactly the same amount of everything as it has always done. The same amount of water is on the earth now as it was 4 billion years ago. Everything else is in the same quantities too.
If we fill the sky with rubbish where will the birds fly? With no birds or insects in the sky we would all die of starvation.
That's rubbish!--- Tikay was here 4 billion years ago, but there was no plastic or beer cans!--- If everything else was in the same quantities, then there will always be the same amount of birds and insects, and pies!--- except I just ate one, so your theory is immediately blown straight out of the window, and into the sky, where a bird just bumped into it and broke its wing, so there small dog!
In Response to Re: Sky is a waste of space!!!! : You have been watching to much QE2 or been on Steven Fry's Web site.? Hawkins fan are we : The Universe is expanding all the time since the moment of big bang. When we solve the mystery of Gravity we will know the fundamental question troubling mankind of how the universe and life began. See how infectious talking rubbish can be.? Please include health warning in future post. ty Posted by logdon
although on the one hand we may posses the answers to the great cosmic equation....with the other we all still pick our noses.....monkeys wif shoes on....................flick!

I don't watch ships.
Didn't know Fry had a site.
Not a fan of Hawkins but I can recommend a good book - How to teach quantum physics to your dog, by Chad Orzel - it's mostly about chasing squirrels but does have some useful info in there too.
It's pretty much agreed how the universe began the big questions are what it contains.
Quantum Mechanics have so far not found any evidence of there being a Higgs Humpty.

Just sayin' ... incase anyone was wondering.

So you can tell Humpty to get down off that wall and get his wellies on!
The only reason he got so broken up in the first place was because the kings horses and men are a bunch of useless flapwits!!!!!!
