    Jesus, Liam has made a right mess of the thread.

    I think it was a poor fold on bet sizing alone. Dont think he would a half pot bet with a K on the river. Somewhere between 3/4 to full pot and maybe it would of been more convincing ( but sure i still folded)

    Also didnt feel Liam was capable of three barrell bluffing and was sure he would check back any high pocket pair on the river.

    I actually thought at the time was a good fold, Liam is generally quite a tight player so isnt going to be 3 barrelling often with air. Possibly can be a sigh call on the end, but i wouldnt be over confident especially with KK's image which is also pretty tight so didnt look like a bluff bet on the end...  Nice bet!

    sorry mate the hand would not post properly but with regards to the hand i was repping the king through the hand and when you called two streets knew you neva had king and you must have had a pair from 88+ and with me betting 2 streets if i really had the king a would not check river so thought half pot bets looks more like i want a call on the river.

    also used my image in the hand because normally when i bet 3 streets i usually do have it

    if oppo is bluffing then they gotta make it impossible to call on river)
    half pot bet = half hearted )

    does checking the flop just allow oppo to bluff or over value their hands

    He might bet 1/2 pot with Kx as hero never has a K here and nearly always has a pair. If he doesnt decrease sizing with Kx it makes even less sense to do it with 22.  I wouldnt think 1/2 pot is optimal on river, but I dont think its an unreasonable bet with something like QQ or Kx here so I think its certainly reasonable to bluff that amount. Also the smaller he bluffs the less often he needs it to get thru

    never went half hearted maybe thats the way you think of it but i think personally think it was a suspicious bet because if i`m bluffin which i was my bet looks like i want paid but we all have different views and play differently so i dunno maybe it was a bad size.

    yeah I hear ya, bluffing smaller amounts because it may look like an obvious pay me bet imo is never good as it's always getting called

    mindset of clap hands I wanna get paid as much as possible would be more apt with trips/FH after two streets of valoooooooooooooo
