Turn play NL8, overcards, a bit drawy!
NL8 table. Villain just joined table so readless. I have been very active and very aggressive but unless villain has been watching table he will not know this!
Villain bought in for a £5er and posted BB out of turn so i think this could be a sign of a recreational player out for a gamble.
Firstly, pre flop, i think i should make this 40p to go because of the 3x +1 per limper thing but didnt notice to be honest as i was multi tabling and involved in a big pot elsewhere at the beginning of this hand. Villain shouldnt be that strong given the check pre flop after posting BB.
So, we move to the flop, i make it pot size purely because it is very draw heavy and i dont mind taking it down now or obviously getting a loose call from a drawing hand given pot odds. This ok?
Turn card obviously gets some draws there! Because of my betsizing on the flop, am i commited to this now? Do i just set him in as there are obviously flush draws that havent got there and if they are willing to call the flop they should call another big bet on the turn? Do i check to allow for bluffs, although this allows flush draws a free card, urghh!

i think your pre and post flop is fine myself
how quick was his call on the flop?
if recreational/inxperienced with an over pair or set would probably reraise you on flop - in my experience
so flush draw or strong ace possibles.
I'd pot bet again, cross fingers and hope 7!

Flop bet is a bit much, guess it depends what you know about the villian and you've said he's new to the table but it's a bet where you're basically never gonna get called by worse, maybe plain A9. A9 of hearts probably raises.
Turn is a horrible spot and I'd be hoping for a 7 (non spade/heart) on the river lol but because of your flop bet getting called, I can't see that you can possibly bet. I tend to treat players at 8NL the same as those at 4NL unless they've proven otherwise, and this guy hasn't yet. The only way I can see you're ahead is if he has 2 hearts and these are probably gonna include either 1 or 2 overcards to your hand which means... you're either not that big a favourite or miles behind.
I'd find a better spot, check/fold and hope you get to showdown for free or river a 7.
