Early Exit in SPT Brighton - Played Ok?

Hi all,

Sadly I left last nights SPT satellite after only playing 2 hands. I've put it down to just plain bad luck cos I thought they were both horrible situations but would like to get people's thoughts.

First one - I think I lost the minimum here as I thought there was no way I could raise the river and get called by worse, maybe QJ but that's about it.

Second one - think I was had no other choice but to 3bet pre and I was always getting it in when shoved on, just need to run better.

Any thoughts appreciated...

They both seem pretty unlucky, and you could have lost more on the first one so Id say good play.

however just a suggestion, but you may have tried 3betting the turn and shoving the river? If he had called it down you would have been out though, so imo you lost the min and played well.

The second hand was simply bad luck, got your money in good and got outdrawn. However that soon into a tourny im never allin with 10,10 simply because your racing against so many hands and its only the beginning, i prefer to be tighter for the first few rounds only occasionally mixing it up

I think overall them plays were ok and you didnt really make a mistake

hand 1 - should of gone busto, don't understand the slow down on turn
Only one hand that's beating you while so much to be gained from Qx/draws
More often than not your going to be kicking yourself for not getting all the chips across the line

hand 2 - is like the exact opposite, but don't mind it bvb - gotta know wobbly is a bit well... wobbly and will stick it in with worse - prefer flat ip but it's not bad

Hand 2: I think flatting is a valid option, and I would often just flat. Once you 3bet obv call it off
