Should I have smelled a rat here.  In hindsight, I get the feeling that my turn bet was a bit aggro as he was obv calling with something on the flop, which could be A7 I spose.
LOL, I couldnt help raising his weak flop lead with overs.  I obv couldve got away if he had come back over on the flop.

He called 6x pre wiv with middle pair so that's hard to spot I guess and that flop looks harmless if you put him on big cards like yourself, turn your basically dead as you aint put him on set, probably smaller Ace.

It's like a red rag when someone bets a tiny amount once the flop is there - I'd have done the same as u!!!  TBH the turn card was ur killer and by that stage u were gonna get committed. Brush it off and carry on imo.

flat call the flop, i think most of the time he has a weak piar + draw (56s, 55, 66) a ton here and is trying to buy cheap turn and river calls.

As played, bet/call turn is fine.
