    limp, raised ,3bet pre flop ( 3bet from me with KK)
    low board i cbet get 2 calls 
    checks round the turn( mostly for pot control )
    value bet river, 2 folds 

    how could i have played this better? was concerned about the limp call preflop. should i really have checked the turn?

    £4K main event 12th July 2013 hand number 67876355 about 8.05PM!!
    Had a break from poker for a while and this was within about 5 minutes of playing my first tourney back.
    Flopped a set, turned quads and lost to higher quads which hit on the river.
    I've never lost with quads before (I saved it for one of your biggest tourneys!) So it would be nice to see it on TV just to make up for it!
    On the plus side managed to cash in the other 3 tourneys I played that evening including the £50 BH ME (finished 10th in that going out with AQ beaten by AJ AIP, ho hum).

    ok is this fold too tight early stages of the tourny and after the raise and call even thou i have position shud i call or is it better to fold and study the players more??

    Did I play this hand right? Was I too aggressive with what I had (As7s)?

    Was this call justified on the end?

     

    Background: An occasional player but regular viewer. Nearly always play cash at 10p/20p. This was from a 90 minute session which started at £40 and ended with a £13 profit. I tend to win small pots but too often lose big pots? Is that due to being too aggressive?

    Pretty sure it was a good fold , other player could only have AA or QQ. I stand by my fold where as others might criticize.

    first game back for a while tonight ... entered the 200 guarenteed tournament.
    Hand id  # 689318260 9pm on 11/9/13

    Early on was dealt A2 Hearts suited on BB

    A rainbow flop with a 2S, QH, 6D

    2D on the turn

    KD on the river

    was i right to call the river all-in ?

    Hitman0127 had  a flush AD 4D

    I know i should have bet the turn but i thought i was well ahead .......  doh

    I think my shove on the turn was the wrong play, what should I have done? I managed to satellite into the tournament and it was the biggest online buy-in tourney I've ever played and haev previously heard about people freezing up when moving up levels.

    being player  most o the night ,  not playing well  and  a real run of  junk cards missing flops  no pairs etc etc

     started moaning of bad luck and bad play  when this happens , the hand  plays it self ,  enjoy

    had a pair of JJ raised pre-flop was a low flop so raised on the flope they just called then a K cam down, i bet again and they shuffed and i dunno if a fold was right as they had load of chips"
