    That's right folks, we have a double helping of poker talent for you tonight, plus me (!) for 5 hours of pokertainment.

    Heading up the show from 7pm will be myself, Richard Orford...


    Aiding and abetting me will be the man who is currently running like God in every poker tournament in the land, Julian Thew...


    and in the guest seat will be the inimitable, tour de force that is poker star Sam Razavi...


    Should be a very entertaining and enlightening show!

    It all starts at 7pm and is simulcast on Sky Sports 4 from 10pm.

    In the mix tonight..

    7pm-8pm – Live cash coverage and a look ahead to all the big tournies.

    8pm-9pm – Poker Clinic – We need your hand requests!

    9pm-10pm – Poker School – The topic is "Calling all-in bets in MTTs"

    10pm-11pm (simulcast with SS4) – Top of the Pots- lots of yummy high-stakes cash action.

    11pm-12pm (simulcast with SS4) – Sky Poker Highlights – focussing on tonight's 15k Bounty Hunter

     

    Questions for Julian and Sam then please, plus anything else- your thoughts, your poker stories, your general banter and of course your hand requests, taken at any time from a TV table- i.e. Mastercash or main event MTT tables. (Please also tell us which MTT or cash table it's from).

    And, I'll be dishing out a free entry into next week's 15K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter as we play

    We'll have 3 callers on the line and each caller will have 5 famous poker players described to them by Sam Razavi.

    Question for Julian and Sam please:

    Julian is known for being a fairly quiet and reserved player at the tables and Sam...    ....er, well...   ...isnt. What are the pros and cons of these two contrasting styles in live poker?

    Question for Sam

    When are we going to see you in a Sky Poker Tour event, we need competition for the YOYOmeister?

    If you can take down SPT Brighton that will be good, I'll endeavour to take down SPT Glasgow (the winners pic will look particularly brutal)

    What's the worst hand you have had to show in a winners pic? (does it beat Julian's 8 2 off?)

    9pm-10pm – Poker School – The topic is "Calling all-in bets in MTTs"

    I would like to know how the guys feel about shoving and calling the all in bet from the blinds in the later ,getting to the business end, of mtt's.

    For example, in an unopened pot the sb shoves on the bb with very wide range to nick the blind . 

    I was running deep in mon night mini bhunter 5th march (31 left /547 runners, and not far away from the bigger cash prizes) ,I was the BB and i had 15bb approx stack  and the sb had 35+ bbs. 



    He pushes on me. So, it's a tournament life decision.
    Knowing my calling range is gonna be fairly tight, is this fair game all the time, and is the risk worth the reward of just the blinds?
    What hands would you actually shove with from here (sb)?
    What hands could you conceivably call with (bb) ?
     What do the pros do in these spots, and does the math support this strategy?

    Great post Rusty. Exactly the sort of thing we need for the show.

    I've spoken to the producer who's checked the hand out and we will definitely be showing that during Sky Poker School between 9pm and 10pm.

    I believe the only difference between a good regular player on sky in mtt,s and world well known names is their bankroll. what do sam and phew think. ive been watching late night live games a lot and 99% of it is no better or worse then games i play in every day on sky.

    hi rich, told my hand from he mini would be shown tonight so before THEWY and SAM rip me apart!!! my thought process (or lack of it) blinds 500 /1000 10 bb left astandard 3bet from oppo put him on AK AQ AJ OR A MID RANGE PKT PAIR so felt A10 not far behind and a reraise showed a little strength, on flop,  saw all the poss draws so felt i had to get him off or fold leaving 5 bb (still in BUT v weak), turn card big smile, river of tears to follow!! HAVE A GREAT SHOW

    Think that the only person Peg can blame for losing that pot with AA v 95 is Peg - Raise bigger pre, as once it's been raised to £3 by Solack and called on the button, a raise to £8.50 isn't going to get anyone to fold, and you're just asking to be outdrawn when you have AA against 3 opponents. I think a raise to £12 - £15 would be much better, and Solack probably folds the 95.
