having your two hole cards being of the same suit makes very little difference to your chances of having the best hand by the river. Usually increase your equity by about 2-3% eg AA vs T9o is 82% vs 18% while AA vs T9s increases to 23% and that is the most extreem example. The chances of flopping a flush are extreemly remote and a monochrome flop (all three cards the same suit) will often kill the action anyway.
Don't worry too much about having suited hole cards. It doesn't make a massive amount of difference

Well I don't have any silly wife to distract me from poker. The clue's in the name.
The reason to play suited connectors isn't that they'll hit a flush frequently, it's that they'll frequently hit some sort of draw - flushing or straightening - that will allow us to play flops aggressively, with some outs to back us up... They can also make us two-pair type hands when our opponents have straight draw hands or higher-pairs and in these circumstances we can get good value from our opponents by playing our hand aggressively. That's the difference between suited connectors and two non-connecting, random suited cards.
78 suited = A reasonable starting hand (depending on circumstances) A2 suited = Not a reasonable starting hand (unless very short handed)
At least you have the best way of spelling suited (sutited) i have seen , good work, would love to here how you say it . Oh and i hit my flush every time i have suited cards so it must just be a conspiracy against you.

I can think of at least two major flaaws in this logic.
Just trying to make the point that aggression is good, it's easier to be aggressive on the flop with hands that have some value and suited-connectors are more likely to have value on the flop than non-connecting, suited cards. It's not an attempt at in-depth analysis of suited connectors. I could never do that in fewer than a thousand words... I mean really... lol

Not just a dig at his spelling but the whole post, it is basically saying everybody wins except me , why me ? We all get beat , go on a run where nothing hits but to put on a post saying everyone else's flush always gets there but mine never does is annoying and a bit childish. But you might be right ," He without sin cast the first stone and all that ", so i shall go to church and ask for forgiveness.

In hindsight am sure you'll see them also.

they always say that suitedness is only worth an extra 1.5%
But in my head its an extra 15%
Can this explain why i am such a fish?
