Where Did Your Name Come From?

Hi all,

Just thought it would be interesting to start a thread where people explain where their Sky username's came from? Mine is pretty boring, my surrname is Lambert and Lambert was taken so I just put a random number at the end of it.

Was talking Emma the other day and she said her game is unpredictable like a Llama.

    yes Paul, you very kindly posted on my thread so here I am posting on yours,

    yidette = loyal Spurs fan since watching my 1st ever footy match on TV in 1981 FA Cup final. Spurs v Man City. Never strayed since even though I have always lived in Wigan. Bit of a trek to The Lane to watch home matches but well worth it imo!!!

    The Sky_Dave one is pretty obvious. I am known as elblandie elsewhere on the poker/xbox/twitter. That came from someone I used to play poker with saying I look a little like Dave Colclough. He's El Blondie, I'm Blandie.... easy game!

    used to be a very naughty boy{payed for it ,believe me} anyway due to my naughty days the n. o. w. says i punched people that hard they thought they had been hit by a mallet,but as usual with this newspaper wrong but the nickname stuck,such is life

    I think you'll find I've posted some "original" threads without moaning.
    And even some, where I've complimented you!
    Maybe you didn't read them but they are there! For example your first Heads Up Comp "inspirational"
    But this thread title was originally Yidettes brain wave and the fact I spelt Knicker as in lingerie then put lol after it might indicate the comment was tongue in cheek!

    Yeah no worries Dunmidosh, my reply was meant to also be tongue in cheek but looking back perhaps does not appear that way despite the smiley face.

    I do remember Yidette's thread but we've had alot of newcomers to the forum and thought this might be better than trawling through tens of pages to revive her thread.

    I have seen the odd compliment, including a compliment of my girlfriend lol.

    I got caught out by the user name thing when setting up my account. My user name is the screen name I actually wanted. Obviously I can't tell you what that is for security reasons, so I had to think of another name for my poker screen name. I played for ages as Sark79 on various sites and wanted a change. I was going out that night with a few friends and they were getting impatient over how long I was taking to decide on a name. I had decided to make my name H3lpDogsTrust and had it written down on a piece of paper in front of the computer. I went to get a beer and when I came back my friend had decided on a name for me and entered it.  I tried to cancel it, but it was already registered.

    When i signed up i was 18ish, which at the time i thought was young for poker. Then just put gun after it dunno why just went, obviously was taken so had to have an underscore. now back to sleep for me ive made myself go all tired :P
