We're back! And this time...it's personal!




Yes, having spent 5 hours on the sofa with each other on Sunday night, Carlo and I have decided to cosy in together again tonight (Thursday).

 

No extra guest tonight- just the two of us, and so we'll need you guys and gals to give us plenty to talk about.

 

Questions for Carlo then please, and everything else to me- your thoughts, your poker stories, your input on the Sky Poker School theme "3-betting in cash", your general banter and of course your hand requests, taken at any time from a TV table- i.e. Mastercash or main event MTT tables. (Please also tell us which MTT or cash table it's from)

Also tonight…

We'll be playing our own, ahem, 'tribute' to Richard and Judy's "You Say, We Pay".

We're calling it...

"You Describe it  And We'll Provide it!"

 

We'll have 3 callers on the line and each caller will get 30 seconds to describe the pictures they see on screen to Carlo and I, who will attempt to guess as many as possible.

The photos will be anything from famous poker players to poker equipment, or from celebrities to random objects.

Whoever gets the most points will win free entry to next Thursday's Sky Sports Bounty Hunter main event worth £33 and maybe a lot more if you cash!

If you want to take part in this tonight- simply email us your name, player alias and contact number for tonight and we'll do the rest!

    Yes mate- that's absolutely fine. As long as it's a hand worth talking about i.e. it isn't for example a race all-in pre-flop.

    Lol. They are aesthetically and trigonometrically correct, as we are both posing in similar postions but in the opposite directions.

    A lot of work goes into the photo selection, I'll have you know.

    Also, I look younger in my photo.

    Hate to tell you this Rich, but just because they have asked you to move to the broom cupboard, does not necessarily mean the show is going to be coming from a new studio! #justsaying

    Hope its a good show anyway and GL to all those playing in the VEGAS sat tonight for just 100 POINTS. MBN. I hope there are more of these coming.

    Couple of hours to go- I'm off to put on some makeup- that'll take up most of it and when I get back I hope to see lots of messages on here to read out on the show tonight.

    Don't forget that comp as well, if a free seat into a main event tickles your fancy.

    Plus, if you want your play critiqued on TV tonight- start sending us your hand i.d.s from any table with a TV icon next to it in the lobby.

    You know that Tikay and Anna had two guests on Tuesday night... but you guys had no guests on Sunday and no guests today.

    (Non-Poker related story)

    Evening Richard and Carlo,

    I was out about town the other day with some freinds, when we came across a guy who had clearly become too friendly with fake tan products. So as young lads do, we had a bit of a laugh and joke with him about the tangerine coloured tinge he had to his skin. He got so angry with us. He told us to be quite and then marched away fuming! You know, people who get offended by fake tan jokes just need to lighten up.

    switched on the tv and thought i was watching a different channel by mistake!! bit posh i think and could do with a better background.... sun, sea, sand and beautiful people in bikinis etc. (no need for you to apply to be one of them though rich!!!!)

    Re: A10 vs. 99 hand from Master Cash 2 where I flopped a set against TPTK - Can't remember who had the A10 in the SB, but if the SB 3-bets with A10, I probably fold the 9's in the BB because the UTG raiser's range contains a lot of hands that are going to 4-bet me out of the pot if I call, and a lot of hands that if I cold 4-bet myself, I'm probably going to get jammed on by the UTG raiser or maybe the SB - Either way, I'm probably just bleeding money, so if the player with A10 3-bets, I can't fold my 9's quickly enough tbh. So definitely agree with Carlo that calling pre-flop was probably a mistake.

    Playing in the Sky Roller tonight for the first time, after qualifying through the League Stars Freeroll, so if there's any interesting hands, I'll send them in :)

    In my defence on that clinic hand, I said alot more than I was quoted on. I appreciate some editorial license is taken for the sake of TV but I did go to some effort to justify my support for the play.

    I do agree with Carlo that maybe a smaller raise - to 1000 - could be better. Though when we're called, I'd hate playing that hand with half my stack in the middle, out of position. What do you do when you hit top-pair or something like that? Appreciate Carlo's thoughts though: He's right, folding is probably best. ;)

    As for earlier: I gave Anna a bit of a ribbing on Tuesday so it's only fair that you get the same treatment, Richard. If I didn't like the show I wouldn't watch it three times a week, would I?

    A QUESTION, IN FIRST HOUR RICH WAS ON RIGHT SIDE OF T.V SCREEN SECOND HR HE`S ON LEFT SIDE ?? SERIOUSLY VAIN TRYING TO GET GOOD SIDE ( DOES HE HAVE ONE ). HAS RICH BEEN GETTING TIPS OF CARLO ??
