Manchester - The Team Behind The Team......
As has already been stated by many of our posters, Manchester on Saturday was a fantastic occasion. I had a great time and particularly enjoyed meeting the faces behind the names. The whole event seemed to be played in the right spirit from start to finish, We, the players, had the easy job. A few hours of playing a game that we all love, in good company, for a nice prize is no hardship!. However, none of it would be possible without the tireless work of the "team behind the team". I am talking about the staff of both Sky Poker and the G Casino who were all magnificent. It is easy to start to take for granted the work that these guys do, the more of these events that we attend. THAT WOULD BE A BIG MISTAKE. The effort put in by everyone on the day - and all the preparation by people that we probably didn't even see - does not go unappreciated. It is insufficient, but all I have to say is THANK YOU. Tikay does an excellent job of fronting it, but I know that he know's, that he couldn't do it without the back up that he receives. Having said that, the energy, commitment and enthusiasm that he provides would put a younger man to shame.....so that is all of us!

The Players can be proud, but so can the Sky Poker Staff Team, & Casino Staff - EVERYONE did their bit.
Team-work. Can't beat it. It was not my Team, Richard Milner is in charge, and he's got some Team, imo.
