    do none of you guys play poker? - chip leader three quarters of the way through a comp - do they win - NEVER - i predict that at least 4 out of the top 5 on the table at the moment will not be in the top 5 at close of play - call me stupid if you like and i am prepared to eat humble pie but there is one hell of a lot of golf left in the masters yet!!!!!!!!!!!

    yep - i am prepared to eat humble pie  - in fact 5 out of the 6 remained in the top 6 and well done everybody - what a fabulous competition and bubba waas brilliant - makes golf such a brilliant game!!!!!

    Well done for running that Splashies. I vote you do it every Major if Sky will put up prizes, I bet more people put bets on Skybet because of this than they would of normally.

    Well done torryboy, never would I of imagined you picks would of won it! Just proves you need to have faith in your 'home' players. Hope your free bet comes good.

    ty for running this splashie, even though i know nowt about golf i was getting excited at being 3rd on day two, i also knew i`d bomb after that ( always the way ) lol

    I probably wont hear back from Sky about the winners prizes until tomorrow due to it being a bank holiday today.

    Also, if i were to run another one, is there any changes people would like to see to the format of the comp?

    1st - torryboy wins a £25 FREE BET 2nd - Robbo67 wins a £10 FREE BET 3rd - chrispip wins a £5 FREE BET Sadly chrispip has to settle for the lesser prize. The scores for all 3 of his and Robbo67's picks were the same. The deciding factor would then be whoever posted their picks first. Well done all 3 winners!

    Great competition Splashies and cheer for running it. My only change..... maybe because apart from phil mickelson the other selections weren't great. But if anyone who misses the cut with their selection is given a score of the cut off mark. So anyone who has say Sandy Lyle who misses the cut and comes in at +20 after 2 rounds has a chance, if say they have Sandy Lyle at 50th(cut point) and 1st and 5th for a score of 56 instead of say 206.Great competition, i think like you i believed robert garrigus may have come good/better than he did but once he $$$$$$$ up that was that for the comp.

    I wouldn't changeanything mate, it was spot on.

    In terms of the CUT scores, I don't think there is any point, look at the winning scores, even if they got 50 points across the board they still wouldn't have a chance. With this many people playing it, you need 3 high placed players.
