Some weird software glitch made the tournament not start on my computer. Really odd.

I've had that sometimes.  Usually if you come all the way out of the software, and then start it again it works fine.  Once I might have had to go as far as to reboot, but usually you dont need to go to that extreme.

Least you cashed!  Could be a good tip for your blog.

Ha, yes- if in doubt, sit right out!

Wonder if you could sit out of a 15 minute till the last minute then go all-in for a quick profit and guarantee a small profit every time?
