Ps i shall now use my £8.93 to buy a calculator to calculate what my ROI is and a small glass container in which to store my ORFORDMOUSE.

Yeah, I haven't done much since my first cash either.

As for the extra penny- I think it's a simply a case of there was an odd amount of money to be divided between two players with the same number of chips and the software doesn't do halfpennies.

Therefore it awarded Wacko the spare penny because it had to pick someone. Dunno if it's based on something, but I suspect it's some random bit of computer programming that picks the player who gets the extra bit.

I've can't give away two seats, so, as harsh as it might seem, I've got to give it to Wacko if the result stands.

That said, you did win last week and also, you still could this week!

In the final 60 minute tourney I finished 4th out of 32 and picked up an ROI of 347%!

So, I would have won at the death...were I eligible to enter my own competition :-(

So instead,

What I'd suggest is putting this on Tuesdays show thread. I'm sure Sarah would find it interesting and since she's nice she might even think about giving you that bounty hunter entry. Fair and lovely lady that she is. (I suggest putting that in your message too, lol)

Thanks for the sympathy! I do feel a little hard done by but I wouldn't want to grumble about what is essentially a very generous promotion (thanks Rich).
The timed tournys are great and I'm sure this comp will encourage more people to get involved, they seem to play like a DYM where everyone is really drunk- people shoving or calling with absolutely nothing!
Which is usually ideal, however yesterday I got screwed on the river so many times I'll be walking funny till next week!

Yeah, I'm pleased this decision has been made, Poppy.

You seem like a decent bloke who takes bad beats on the chin and doesn't moan, and that was a particualrly harsh way to lose out on a free seat....so all is now well in the world!.

For those of you reading this thread who haven't tried out my promotion yet, I hope you can see how ridiciulously easy it is to play the main event on a Thursday for free.

And everyone who takes part in this challenge seems to enjoy it- there's a real sense of one-upmanship on the night where players tussle to outdo each other, continually posting better scores until the very last minute.

I'm aiming to do the next one of these nights next Wednesday- make sure you play some timed tourneys that night and post your results, and if yours is the best, you win. It's as simple as that!
