That reminds me, I really need to book a hotel.  Best do that soon.

Ok guys, this is looking like a good one.  So much so I might not even play poker the Friday night and just get in the spirit of things.  This is unusual for me (ask Mach) as I normally end up grinding cash until 3ish.

Let's party like the Welsh party.  Well, maybe not that much....

been thinking about attending one of these events but unsure what hotels
and prices are there on the friday night as if i go. I would get the train to Cardiff
then travel to the venue. Seems like a good craic

yeah blackpool im a defo for. The girlfriend has family down there so ive used me paying for her to go and see them as my way down. Really need to qualify though and the Genting poker series will be in Edinburgh just weeks before so unless i cash in that money could be tight,

OK... Im in!

Booked my train ticket to Cardiff. Now need to prob share a hotel room to save costs!

Also need enough to get home again. lol

Oh and there is the tiny matter of finding £110 for a direct buyin on the day if im lucky (alternate)

All being well, ill be there... wouldnt miss this one for the world, was so great last year!!!

Flights are booked and hotel sorted!!

Only problem I face now is that I dont have a seat and its a long way from Ireland!! Im a bit dissapointed got so unlucky so many times but hey hopefully buy in direct as an alternative!

Anyway going for the experience and will be playing the side events so I dont mind!!

Sky usually lock the lobby just before the event as they have to send over the names of the players to the casino.  This is normal and happens just before every SPT.  If you have got your seat then there is no need to worry!

Here's an email I received from Sky:

"We are thrilled you'll be joining us for the fifth Leg of the Sky Poker Tour in Cardiff this Saturday 28th April. The prize pool is a guaranteed £15,000, with £250,000 guaranteed for the whole Sky Poker Tour.

The event will be held at Les Croupiers Casino and play will begin at 2.00pm. Registration will take place from 12pm. If you aren't already a member of this club, please make sure you arrive in plenty of time and bring some photo ID."
