NL Omaha!

edited April 2012 in Poker Chat
Hey peeps just thinking i usually play quite abit of omaha when i can but one irritating thing i find is limp limp limp RAISE call call call its extremely annoying in the finest way!!

Yea the pots build dramatically but getting ppl to fold pre is like impossible usually 4 way flop most hands and you no with it bein the craziest game goin someones always gunna hit!!

My suggestion sky is there any chance of introducing NL Omaha??? or even given it a tester! think this will be a big plus and others will agree with me(i hope!)

thankyou

There is a 2p/4p NL Omaha table and lots of NL Omaha Sit & Go's in the lobby.

If I'm not mistaken though NL Omaha can basically turn into bingo as no hand is that far ahead or behind preflop in Omaha.

Thx for your reply mate im thinking bit bigger stakes tho lol duno why its not introduced the rake would be greater also!

Yea but having the free will to overbet pots and not price them in but noin that there are ppl that will chase without the odds can be a bigger advantage in itself

Only bein able to bet pot all the time when you no your gunna get more than 1 caller is irritating so i think having NL would be a big plus

No way should omaha be no limit!!!! The beauty of the game is that no hand is greater than another preflop (although many have the delusion that AA any any is wonderful).

The action (and dreams) begin at the turn - and can be realised or shattered at the river. No limit would remove the option of cultivation rather than "shove fests" and ruin the beautiful game. If you want proof try the No Limit DYM omahas - a great game spoilt in my humble opinion.

Yeah Omaha is a drawing game which is why it works much better as a pot limit game.

Everybody likes to see flops so you have to accept you will see alot more limp calling, raise, calling resulting in multiway pots.

Least sumone agrees with me lol yea but for ppl like me who are utter aggresive its hard to use that game in PLO when no1 folds

This isnt a rant just that i think these should be introduced for ppl like me who love the action and sit n goes isnt the same as playing cash period

You might say its bingo ill disagree there its a big advantage bein able to bet as you will and as i said in the first post overbetitng or having the option to push say £100 into a £50 bluff will knock out ppl with say lower FHS smaller flushes at times but only bein able bet pot dusnt help im probly bein a bit of a doosh but these games would be attractive!
