Who Do People Satellite into Tournaments they have already qualified for???

Just curious as to why people do this,

I know for a fact that a player has already satellited into the super roller tonight about a week ago, now they are playing the big satellite tonight again.....

Why?

If you 'cash' in the satellite having already entered the target tournament already, I believe you get the equivalent value of the seat in your account, not certain though.

Isn't this just outright abuse of the satellite system that Sky run for the smaller rolled players, I kinda don't agree with doing this, although I appreciate why people do it.

I suppose its just like playing a multi-table DYM or 5X-YM.

suppose people do it if they have a edge. suppose u cant blame the big guns for
having value but to me would this b sky looking after the big players on the site?????

Not only do you get a buy-in credited tou your account, you are also reducing the number of opponents at the main even, therefore increasing your chances in the main event.

Could someone explain what a "big player" is, does this mean they are a pro or just large?

Dont understand what your problem is with a player who is already in trying to sat in again

all sat are X amount of seats per x amount of players eg 1 in 5 or 1 in 10

so if a player is already in and trys to sat in again helps create seats to be won

why do players do it ?

suggest bank roll management

no matter how good you are cannot guarantee to cash so if you win two seats (one you play one you cash )
your in profit even if you don't cash in tourney

if a player has proven to him self he can win in sats why would he not exploit this and play the sat again

i dunno how it works on here but personally id do it just to limit the amount of players there are in these tourneys, think about it if you have a ticket and get another one it stops someone else getting in thus reduces the field by one, if you win 5 tickets you have reduced the field by 4 and so on

i dunno how it works on here but personally id do it just to limit the amount of players there are in these tourneys, think about it if you have a ticket and get another one it stops someone else getting in thus reduces the field by one, if you win 5 tickets you have reduced the field by 4 and so on

No, because you don't win another seat, you just win the cash equivalent of the seat. If anything, players who have already qualified and entering the sat again are benefiting the other players by creating more seats to be won in that sat imo

Increasing a 200 seat field by 1makes no difference. Personally I think - if you've already qualified or bought in you should be blocked from re-entering . It reduces the fiield to the same few players and squeezes out the fresh blood and those with less funds to play with.
