    Hi Burn,

    No - I can't se them either!

I suspect the Home Page was a bit premature, but I'll find out for you.

Another Thread that I'll need to send to Sky Bernie!

    Hi Pete,

Sky-Bernie wrote back to me - the info on the Home Page was incorrect, sorry. It's now been removed.

I'm not sure when Newcastle Qualifiers will start - probably end of this week, beginning of next week latest.

Hope to see you in Newcastle.

Over to you, Mr Orford. ;)

Tikay, are you allowed to qualify for more than 1 of these things? Even though Glasgow is right beside me I have a lot of family in Newcastle and easy place for me to go to.

Dont want to try and qualify if its against the rules!

Looks like I am going to come to Newcastle, was originally too far to travel, but found its only £34 return to fly from Bristol, I know a few others are going to fly over as well.
    Hopefully see you all there

Does these qualifiers just last the one day??? How long did it take for the first leg to finish?
If you win a sit, do you get sent the information about exact location and confirmation that you have a place?

    Hi Ness.

Leg 1 started at 2pm on the Saturday and finished approx 2am on Sunday morning (exactly what was predicted, the structure worked perfectly).

If you win a seat you usually recieve an e-mail with all the details a couple of weeks before the event. However details usually appear here on the forum first.

You can get details of the Newcastle casino location directly from the internet or on the Sky Poker Tour homepage.

I played in Leg 1 in Manchester, it was a great fun day, well worth trying to qualify.

    Kind regards

    Hi Ness,
    In order,
No, the qualifiers take place until all 130 seats are filled.
The first leg started at 2pm and finished approx 1 or 2 am sunday morning.
If you win a seat, you automatically get put on the list in the lobby and then in the week before the tourney you will recieve an email with full details.
However, if you do get through, i would suggest looking for a hotel straight away and visiting the Aspers website to pre register. I you have any other questions feel free to send me a PM and i'll do my best to answer any further questions.

    Hi Guys,
Dont forget to factor in the cost of a taxi or rail link to the town centre, and it takes about 25/30 mins by the Metro.

Thanks for your email. Please accept my apologies about the delay, we have had to speak to a different department regarding this matter.

Unfortunately, it would appear Mr Orford may have been misinformed about the giving away of the T-Shirts. We certainly didn't hand out T-Shirts to all players, just a select few for on-the-spot giveaways and we were also giving away other Sky Poker merchandise throughout the evening.

We don't have any t-shirts available currently I'm afraid, but I have been reliably informed - by a colleague in the Community department - that there will be a ton of giveaway competitions over the Xmas period where members can win all manners of Sky Poker merchandise. So please keep an eye on the Community section of Sky Poker for further details.

In the meantime, if you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Kind Regards,

    Liam
