3 handed I'd have been ready to check fold here to a bigger bet, but even putting him on AJ have you been priced in here?

Well if he has any J, then your only out is the flush which is gonna hit on the river about 20% of the time, which is no where near the odds you're getting, especially seen as some of your flush outs will give him a FH (if he didn't hit it on the turn).

But I don't think you can 100% put him on a J. He could have easily called your c-bet on the flop with the diamond flush draw, then when you check the pot you've basically said you're giving up on the pot, so he's bet again knowing he can either make you fold or hit the flush. Or just be calling a 'standard' c-bet with hands like KQ and AQ thinking you probably don't have the J and he think he's gone ahead on the turn.

All this is trajectory, I think I'd probably call to see a river and re-assess

@lamert I still reckon you got very close to correct pot odds here as played even assuming he got the Jack, tho FD/Qx much more likely.

Interesting though tha Villain has offered such a close price, is he reeling us in with his Jack?

Intersting hand, just shows the perils of playiing a pretty but marginal Ace OOP.

There's nothing wrong with playing A6 this deep (200bb effective). However, we shouldn't be playing it to hit an A or a 6 - With A6hh, we're looking for hearts on the flop. If we're going to fall in love with our hand when we hit a pair of 6's then we shouldn't be playing the hand.
