Can debate saying playing it slow and that or getting it in with 2 pair this deep isnt good but i guess with Omaha you expect ppl to bet there drawing hands big as i assumed! But getting counterfitted has gotta be the worse way to lose period!

Thx again gooood day:)

Just a wild guess but i think it might be lessons ?

I think what EvilPingu is trying to say is that this hand is quite bad and you need to be aware that you lost alot of money because you didn't play very well, rather than because you were unlucky.

I'm no Omaha expert, but the basic idea of starting hand selection is to play hands where all four cards work together. Your hand doesn't do that and looks to be as bad as it gets. Also, top and bottom pair is not a great hand in Omaha. If it's ahead it's very easily going to be outdrawn and when the money goes in it's unlikely that you are ahead anyway.

As I say, I know little about Omaha but I think this sort of play is going to be very expensive for you. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure someone like Talon would be able to tell you if I'm talking nonsense or not.

Yeah I know little about Omaha but top and bottom very is VERY unlikely to be ahead when you get to the river.

At a wild guess i would think that absolutely noone would be needing a new lappy after this. Because i do not think that anyone else would have got themselves into this spot.

There are 2 main ingredients in playing omaha. Hand strength and position. You have probably just about the worst possible starting hand going and you are UTG so  it has nothing right about it whatsoever.

Your raise preflop is just throwing money away because unless you manage to steal the blinds this is not a hand that you would want to see a flop with in an inflated pot.So that was your first mistake. Calling a 3-bet with that sort of hand is again just throwing away money, can see no possible reason for doing it. Even if the oppo is 3-betting light he is still guaranteed to have a better hand than the garbage that you have.

The flop comes down about as perfect as it can for you giving you the oesd, but with the fd out there we have to think that you have only 6 outs so are 3 to 1 to win the pot at this point. Your top pair is worth exactly nothing and should be regarded as such. There is an arguement for shoving as much in at this point to take the pot down whilst you still have equity available and a reasonable live draw. But all in all fold is the best option and call is the worst. Calling gives you 1 card to get lucky before your odds of winning plummet.

Turn: Top and bottom pairs are weak to marginal at best and not a hand that you would want to go to war with so your only real river card is the one that complete your straight. Again this should be a fold because a call or raise here is virtually never going to have you in a good spot.

So in my opinion. Two major mistakes preflop, one major mistake on the flop and one major mistake on the turn. Hand result of good play is nothing lost at all. Hand result of bad play most of stack gone. You should not be complaining about bad luck in this hand because your only weapon throughout the entire hand was luck. This is a cash game and does not have increasing blinds so there is absolutely no need to be playing garbage hands in 3-bet pots. Fold these hands pre and stick to playing a better selection of hands in position if possible.

To be honest i dont get what you class as garbage in Omaha yea my hand isnt suited in anyway! but the table was stupidly loose to every hand was £10.50 to go if not £21 most pots were £100+ and some of the turnings over 90% of the time were just either SD or FD and here me holding 2 pair playing against sumone who ino was loose himself i thinks the right move i assumed he had maybe 1 pair FD it just shows pot commited or not i stil got him to stick rest of his stack on turn with alone pair! with absolutely no draws , its not like i flatted turn either way that would be wrong and yea ppl can assume me pushing here is wrong as im never gunna be ahead in the long run but if you played on the table be a difo story , and i have a supper loose range so if i tighten up and only play position in omaha and play the hands when i actually hit at these levels im never gunna get paid , If you play omaha and always put sumone on the absolute nuts in this case kk or 99 hence why he was  betting then you shouldnt be playing the game at all!! id play it the same way if i had 78 spades

not a rant just me stating you cant play ABC in omaha when theres 4 to a flop 80% of time

Got a hand here from a reg which i should cross out of course but just wanted to show what it was like hence is this a bad move from him in the long run aint most of the time he gunna be drawing against the nut flush draw?? or even a set

Probly same thinking as me if hes against a set say 88? he can catch 2 outer for the qq and hes got the FD also yea your gunna lose more than you win but its a gamble you gotta take in omaha

Thought id find one more from same table , hes playing his SD and FD super aggresive nothing wrong with it id have played it exactly the same trying to get it in on the flop , but shouldnt he be more concerned about me having k 10 or sein as my check looks weak as im chasing a certain draw also?
But all im saying is this table was getting it in on FD and SD a hell of a lot hence the move on the turn in the 1st hand , but about that 1st hand only hand i was worried of sein was k9 or k6 id be happy for him to turn over FD and SD im still technically favourite

Ok so the table is loose, why would that mean you start joining in and playing with complete junk, your hand is completely terrible. You're 6 starting hands are...

    K2, K8, K7, 78, 82, 72.

78 is about the only hand I would ever consider playing in Hold Em and even then I would not be playing it UTG.

You want hands that are drawing to the nuts, you have no flush draws, 1 hand out of a whole 6 that could hit a straight, and the rest is complete junk.
