Flopped set no good, how to proceed?

I imagine most people will hate my fold here, but I am convinced it is correct.  My question is whether it is better to bet/fold the turn or check/call?

Mathematically it's not correct to fold here. The pot odds are giving you 6/1 and you're better than 4/1 to pair the board on the river. The only issue is what GLDLADYLUC might do behind you... but that shouldn't deter you as they don't have enough behind to cause a problem.

Yeah I was gonna say that you've got the odds to try and hit the FH. I also think you can really go for it and overbet the pot by a good bit more on the flop on such a wet board. At this level, if someone's calling 28p then they won't think twice about calling 40-50p

Bet much more on turn, at least one english pound, and don't fold.
