AK 3bet OOP - Missed - Pot bet behind

edited April 2012 in The Poker Clinic
I never know what to do in these spots.  Is the 3bet bad at this level?  Should I just c/f the flop?  It seems very weak.

I'm pretty new to the game but I say the 3-bet is okay pre-flop with that hand, however I would have gone check-fold on the flop seeing as a it would be likely for someone to have or be chasing a flush.

    3bet is great pre flop.

Given stack sizes and pot size I don't mind shove as he can have lots of worse no pair hands he calls with and even with pairs you've got outs.

Basicaly this should have gone in pre.

On flop against bigger stack however it's defo a check fold.
