Sky Poker Playing Abroad?

edited June 2012 in Poker Chat
I am currentely considering moving to Australia at the moment after i finish my university degree at the end of this year for between 6 months and 1 year.  I would like to play online over there and use this as my source of income.  The question is will i be able to play online on sky poker from Australia?

the tables are displayed differently in australia.  nevertheless if you go into "control panel" and "display" you will be able to rotate the screen 180 degrees and all will be fine.

the term, "donk" is unused in australia.  instead, the word, "dingo" works just as well.

    Good morning Mr Bear.

No, I'm afraid you will NOT be able to play on Sky Poker in Australia, we are not licensed there, & we only operate where we are legally 100% street-clean. We do not market Sky Poker (or any SB&G products) in Australia, & it would not make much business sense for us so to do.

You can view the Ch 865 Live Streams from there (or almost anywhere which has internet, some parts of China excepted), but that's about it.

Sky Poker have no plans to operate in Australia, either.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to play online now in Spain, and if so on which sites. That's assuming I download the correct .es site from the poker room. I know Sky won't have a licence to operate there. But bwin, 888 and PStars do, but they don't seem to be able to tell me how I can play when I holiday in Spain. PokerStars actually said I can't - but I'm not sure if that is correct.
I suspect that if I download the site onto a Spanish computer serviced by a Spanish broadband (which I have) and fund it from a Spanish bank account (which I have) then I should be able to play, assuming my NIE (as opposed to my National Identity card which I don't have) and passport are sufficient identification. Has anyone else tried playing while in Spain?

Tikay. Didn't I hear you say on 865 regarding the TSP members who are in Vegas, that they can log in and play but they can't deposit or withdraw funds? Is this the case in the US but not in oz?
