There's also a competition (running until 9.30pm)... I want to know: who is your poker hero and why? And everyone who correctly guesses MY poker hero will go into the draw to win free entry to next Tuesday's £5k Open. Expect clues from 7pm :-) Posted by J-Hartigan
Great show. My poker hero is The_Don90 althrough hes my partner he introduced me to the game poker and is teaching me about the game and i cant thank him enough i absolutely love the game and although he does and bad habits at poker he knows not to teach me that and that will hopefully help him out aswell.

In Response to Re: Thursday's live show with James & Jen - plus Jerome Bradpiece & Sarah Berry (***OFFICIAL THREAD***) : Seems to be working OK, can you not see it at all? Posted by Sky_Claire
I was having such a great day until this happened in the SkySports BH Hand ID 517687281 Can anyone seriously not tilt after this?I fear for my chances on the other tables tonight
hi guys have a great show my question is for jerome and sarah the game has changed so much in the last 5 years is there any new poker things that u do now that u didnt do when u 1st started out like the donk bet leads is coming back into fashion i see this alot now would be good to see what kind of things stu unger would come out with in todays from steve
Wouldn't call him my poker hero but I think Bertrand (ElkY) Grospellier is a great player. He seems to be a strategy guru and seems to often know where he is in a hand.
I also have a good deal of respect for Negreanu, Mercier and Victor Blom (just because he's just won back-to-back SCOOPs which is crazy IMO)
Fancy seeing a barrelling that goes wrong, check out this hand in the mini-bh #517737367Once he limp's in my auto setting is to raise. Once I get a donk lead I've got him on second pair, so I reraise (with a gutshot) but I'm wary when he calls. Once he leads the turn for 200 I'm certain he has a middle pair so I shove as I've now got an UDSD and i get called by bottom pair. Do you think I should've just called the weak turn lead to try to hit my straight?regards,Carl (Mohican)
You where just talking about confidence, and as a player who plays very scared when confidence is low and seriously aggrssive when confidence is high, what advice would Jerome and Sarah offer to to someone whos like that?
Edit: What i mean by this is when confidence is low even when getting it in with the nuts before the river my eyes are closed alot of the time hitting reload almost 100% sure their going to hit their draws/FH/Quads etc. When confidence is too high i just seem to get it in far too light.
ref 1k pot,let that be a lesson to the viewers,i was multi tabling AND watching the fa cup final and i snaped called without noticing it was my bigest table and a lot of money if you cant concentrat on every table dont play so many

Hi Jen & James,
My wife thinks she knows you James since your Sky May 2010 LV Final reading of her hands, but it has to be Doyle Brunson
Good show tonight you two

If one of my hands features in TOTP I'd appreciate some honest feedback of how badly I played AAA.
Good luck with the rest of the show.
