150BB deep with AK facing 3b overbet shove after over raising to isolate fish. NL4

OK ive blanked a limp folder here as well since this was the reason for my open size. He was likley to call very wide so i increased my open size here to get the most i could in pre. Suddenly that shove comes. Obviously the stack sizes are going to effect my desision here, and being honest i had no clue what to do.

Reads: Villian has been pretty crazy post flop but pre usually just flatting not raised that often, and never done anything like this before.

Rarely find this move at the low limits is with a super wide range, as they often shove strong hoping for someone to make a mistake calling. I very much doubt you can give him a wider range than 5% here in most cases, which means you only going to be 50% against his range, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is tighter than that with his shove range if this is the first time you've seen him do it. I personally doubt he is going to be wider than AQ and JJ+, but hey could be wrong.

Raise big is ok pre but I think if you make it 11x you have to be happy getting it in against anyone.

For me if I wasn't happy getting it in I'd make it like 24-28p as we do also have position post flop as opposed to raising from the blinds.

Yes, readless I'm stacking 150bb to an overshove with AKs - I wouldn' be surprised if you were up against the same hand, maybe even AQ, or just racing vs JJ and upwards. villain could be presuming your iso players ip and so he plays back with a weaker hand - obv occasionaly he might have aa here but I think its more likely its a race or youre ahead

You don't wanna be calling off w/AK 150bb deep, rarther 4 bet shove it in than call it off

Like others it depends if you like flipping. (or in my case vs aq )

I actually think more people with have aa here at 4nl as they tend to get excited seing bullets.

You were also deeper than me so I don't see folding that bad either.

Some people would call and some people would fold! Depends how much losing £5.83 on a coin toss bothers you? Me personally id fold cause losing £5.83 on a coin toss when i dont have to would kill me haha

Folding or calling is ok, so if you felt you might just be throwing good money after bad (IE what you had out there) then fold is ok. Depends how tight a range you put him on...  If you think he will shove this with 5% or more of his hand range, with 5% being 88+, KQs+, A10s+ and AKos then you'd be 50% against that range. If you think its tighter than that range then really nothing wrong with a fold. As if his range drops to 99+, AQs+, KQs, AKos then you still around 50% but a slight dog at 48% roughly and so going to lose slightly over time with the call.

So all in all really depends what you thought his range might be, so either choice fold or call cant' be slagged off if you are readless.

i would probably fold this readless, i see alot open shoving with a wide range. But given its a 3bet shove i hardly every see villians turn up with anything you crush here. Its also worth noting, you dont really want to be flipping as the rake will kill you in the long term.
