customer service speak

Ive just brought a new car traded in the old one so i phone my insurance company today to cancel the old policy get told thanks for calling that will be £55 quid please. turns out in the small print if i cancel before the last 14 days of the policy i have to pay an admin fee the policy runs out in 16 days so i say forget i called ill phone on friday, you cant do that as its against the law to insure a car you dont own. so i polity do my nut and ask for a supervisor, the supervisor phones me 5 minutes later to say i should have to pay the £55 but as a goodwill gesture they will waiver it.
So that get me to the point of this thread customer service speak i will start off with.,,

GOODWILL GESTURE - Weve tried to rip you off and got caught out so we will give you what you were entitled to in the first place.

i would love to hear any other customer service speak theyve tried on you
