Exit hand $1000 mini. Some how can't work out some plays

The hand right before this villian shoved 106os from UTG and lost half his stack from a call with KK, and claimed it was his favourite hand. I'm at 10bbs and shove this hand in hoping for a walk, but having good chance of live cards, straight/flush possiblities if called.. and he calls with this. Just wonder how you get to this stage sometimes with bingo poker. Anyone feel the shove was bad with the hand? Couldn't see sitting around any longer was going to work, and had been card dead for most of game, and walks with the only two big pairs, and one double with AK up till this point.
